One day a class of students were out picking berries when they came across a little Bunny hole. At first they thought it was a good place to plant their berries cause it was nice and deep with alot of moisture and they didn't have to use a heavy spade. So the next day they went out to see the berry they planted and ........ it was gone. "Jessica,' Screamed Matenga from the other side of the field "The berries are gone......" He went to say another word but Jessica butted in (literally)
"I know... " Zoe yelled out. "Jessica ate them!" Jessica looked at her side ways. "No I... BURP!"
At this point it was obvious who ate them. "Pardon me!" Everyone looked but they were over looking at her in about 5 minutes. "Now what are we going to do the competition is in two days" Then Lyrics and Lucian had a yelling match. Zoe butted in "well actually the competition is in 28 hours thirty two minutes, twelve seconds and half a millisecond" Everyone just stopped and looked at the nerds of nerds, Zoe. Everyone agreed on the fact that they need to focus on the hole and what it was. So Jessica, Tyrone, Lyrics, Paige, Reshan, Jessie, Ane, Zoe and Matenga all said that they would plant another plant and sleep the night in the garden. Well the next day pasted and it was time for them to sleep in the garden. The night fell and the morning was on its way, but before they could hear the birds sing they saw a really great light. Lyrics got out of the compost and called Zoe over to the light and he said " what is this light?." "Well it seems to me as if something was down that hole." Zoe said. "Naaaaa, even Ane could have told me that.But if I want more information I would have asked Ane or Tyrone. "Lyrics finished with a grin The rest of the sleepers walked to the scene. They all asked "Whats the problem?" they all looked down and screamed. "Tyrone your the skinniest get your but down there." They shoved him across to the hole. He jammed on his brakes and said no. Paige looked down and said "I'll do it" Everyone looked away. One hour later Paige came up with a torch. "This was all it was!"
everyone looked with shock. They were all so happy and the hero of the Paige. But unfortunately for her all she heard for the rest of the day "Yeaha Paige" It was a happy but scary ending!

My favourite band and singer.

My favorite singer is Chris Brown. he has a criminal record as a couple of months ago he bashed his former girl friend Rihana. She was seriously hurt but I still like him as a singer. GO CB!

On the other hand my favorite band would be the Jonas Brothers. They are so good at singing. im in love with their song year 3000. They all rock but I like CB better

Is It Okay To Eat Dogs?

Just imagine everyone in the world ate dogs, One day or another they would become extinct. Then what would be mans best friend? Definitely not the cat. “I am going to explain my point of view when it comes to eating dogs.”

Just recently there was a man in Auckland who barbequed his dog, the SPCA wants a law to be brought in about eating dogs. I am going to talk about what I think about this.

I personally think that eating dogs is not okay. It is mostly other cultures that eat dogs but what if every culture ate dogs? What would happen?

Some people say its okay to eat dog but most of us New Zealanders say it’s disgusting, when really it is. I will not like to try dog and I hope you won’t either.

But on the other side or on other peoples point they say it’s fine to eat dog. Just last year there was at least 9,000 dogs killed by the SPCA. Some people will say that instead of wasting a good dog then why can’t we eat them? They also so worse things like “I am part of a culture that eats dogs and I’m not about to change.” Or “I had nothing to eat so I decided that it would be okay to eat my dog.” But if they want to eat dogs why not eat them in their own country or island?

I believe that there is a point on both sides, (examples)

It is okay to eat dogs because to some religions it is a cultural food and they think eating horses and dogs is disgusting. But on the other side of things there is things like, why eat a harmless animal? Or Dog is a mans best friend. Next time you think about this particular situation think about what the dog would say if he/she could speak.

Paige and the three horrible bears

One day there was three horrible bears chubby bear, skinny bear and short bear. Skinny bear had just been roasting some nice plump pears, "Now short bear this will be hot so we will go for a horrible short walk, so they did. Little did they know a nice little girl came skipping along the path when she saw three bears they were big, small and short leaving a neat cozy little cave the girls name was Paige and that's me. The Chubby bear screamed out in a deep voice, "Don't forget to lock the door or I will feed you to the dogs." So skinny bear ran not realizing that he did not lock the door properly. So off down the path stormed the three grumpy bears. So sneaky little Paige(me) came sprinting down the path to the horrible little cave. She bolted inside and ate all the food, hot, cold, big, small she ate them all. I was so tired of eating so I went and had a small bathe. I did a bomb in the first one and a nice smart walk into the middle one and tried to squeeze into the last bathe. I was so tired of all the bombing and squeezing so she ran to the beds and pushed them all together and slept on all of them. Little did I know the bears were on there way home and in a grumpy mood they too stormed through the door and ran upstairs. But ooohhh no sneaky little Paige had already left. Chubby bear realized I had forgotten all my clothes and said "She'll be back"

Hall Games

Today for physical education we did a few games in the new hall. We were the first class in all of the hall history to play a form of sport in the new hall! It was really fun. First we had two warm up games which were Line tag and the fun Captains coming. Then we had a awesome game of Soccer. I liked soccer cause I was the only one who actually scored a goal. The boys got a goal but that's because they got into their positions faster then us. I was proud for our side but in the end we came tie. I liked my time in the hall and can't wait till the next time we go into the hall!

I Wish...........

I wish I had a world of my own. There would be flying yellow pigs, pink, yellow or lime green horses and pink and hot pink cats, dogs or bunnies.
I would live in a hot pink house but it wouldn't look retarded. The sky would be yellow and the clouds would be silver on a bad day and pink on a mild day. I would look after millions of colourful animals and my favourite would be a baby pink bunny. I would love my world as much as my room!!!!!!! My world would be called the world of the un-maketh.

Rarotonga

Rarotonga is the 3rd most beautiful island in the South Pacific. It is capital of the Cook Island, and is in Polynesia. For a beautiful island like that it is only 4 hours to travel over there.
The languages are English and Rarotongan Maori.The currency in Rarotonga is not some fancy stuff like yen, it is just the New Zealand currency. The main export in Rarotonga is the Reef.
It has some amazing scenery. (Planning a holiday)
If I was to go back to Rarotonga I would stay at Edgewater resort in the garden Villas, though it costs $495.00 per night it is so gorgeous, if I was to go back to Rarotonga I would go in either October ( Spring or flower season) or in April ( the warm summer season). There is so many activities over in Rarotonga but I would adore to go on the glass bottom boat and I would love to go snorkeling 24-7.

HOCKEY ON THE 25

Last night was the 25 of may. We (Kaitao hockey team) vs the JPC 3 team. We won 12-2. It was a rough game but we made it. I only played half the game because I was doing some business for Applez (nothing special just taking some pictures) I took 2 photo's just 2 of Applez and he called me a book. How mean.

Tennis With A Pro!!

Today was an exciting day for all the school as we were going to play tennis(better then running for 20 minutes) We practiced many things like playing with your fore arm and back handed. It was fun and my favorite part was actually playing with partners over that web........................I mean the net. I played with Azi and trust me together we ......well lets just say played alike( we both hit to no one) I loved playing tennis with Mr Beamish and I hope that in the future I will remember the skills he taught me!!!

P.E With Applez

Today is Monday the 18Th of May. And poor old Room 5 and Room 4 had to run the block. It was a tad foggy and very cold. We made it though (5 hours later). It was not the best day of my life but Ill get over it but Mr Apperley didn't help as he was taking pictures of us. Boo boo hoo boo. It was almost the end of the world. If Mr Apperley saw this he would probably say 'Drama Queen!!!!'
I'm over it though...........................................................................NOT!!!!!!!!!!

The Rotorua Marathon!!

It was a cold dark morning ice owning the land, (okay maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit too much) It was cold though.
Me, Mr Apperley, Jessica and a couple of other kids were there handing out water at 9:00 in the morning. It was annoying until the runners came past, and then we literally had to run and get water which made us warm........ so we were happy. But it all started to get a bit boring when the runners and I repeat RUNNERS started to walk!!!( How could they?????) 1 hour later , 2 hour
later, 3 hours later, 4 hours later, okay I think you get it. Anyway I think I'm getting a little bit carried away or shall we say off track! But I saw two people I knew.

Hi my name is Paige. I am an 11 year old student at Kaitao Middle School.My favourite teacher at the moment would have to be Mr Apperley. He rocks!!!!
When I'm at home and not doing anything I love to read Harry Potter or write whether its a story or song I'll do it. I have two brothers and unfortunately I am the middle one. Sometimes we get along and other times you wont want to get in our way. When I amt older I want to be a Zoologist, Astronomer or a Geologist.
